Dragon Mission started out as a Chinese New Year initiative that created a unique opportunity for the community to toast to the Lunar New Year and at the same time, contribute towards helping underprivileged students.
The campaign saw RM 2 million raised at the end of the 6-week duration which set a new record for Guinness Anchor Berhad (GAB) as it was the largest amount collected within its time frame by a single initiative.
The success of the Chinese New Year initiative earlier this year led to GAB intensifying its commitment towards supporting Chinese education in Malaysia.
Today Dragon Mission goes beyond Chinese education alone, it is an initiative that encompasses providing opportunities for Chinese youth to reach out and achieve their ambitions and maximize their potentials through a balanced education that involves equal focus on academics and extra curricular activities makes for a well rounded individual that will be able to contribute towards nation building.
