The GAB Foundation is set up at a time when arm's- length philanthropy is no longer enough. Within GAB, we have thought long and hard about how our Foundation can bring about positive changes. We are determined that it must provide something unique when we work on behalf of the underprivileged or when we work in areas like education and conservation.

The Foundation has not only contributed significantly in improving and enriching the lives of deserving Malaysian individuals and communities, but also resonates with GAB's corporate values of striving for excellence, acting with integrity and having a genuine respect for people, society and its diversity.

Unlike business, our reward will not be measured by financial gain, it will be measured by the number of people assisted and the number of lives improved. In short, the work of the Foundation is all about enriching the communities in which we operate.
