GAB strives to tap young top minds, provide talent pipeline and build bench strength for leadership positions and ensure constant supply of trained executives for succession and manpower planning.

Application -> Shortlist - > Interview -> Assessment(evaluate candidate on their personality, aptitude, presentation, communication and written skills as well as ability to work in a group, problem solving and decision making, leadership and handling pressure and difficult situations). 

This Management Trainee program will run for 18 months, and is divided into 4 phases.

The 1st phase : is the company wide induction which will cover 1 month.



The 2nd phase : 7 months. Intensive program in the home department, where the trainee is expected to be placed at the end of training. It covers on the job training, undertaking of significant projects, as well as immersing themselves into ways of working and understanding processes and systems.

The 3rd phase : 6 months. Attachment to departments which were listed as of 2nd ranked interest by the trainees. It covers on the job training and undertaking of significant projects.

The 4th phase : 4 months. Attachment to departments that have strong linkages and cross functions with the home departments. This is to enable them to understand how their 'customer’ or ‘vendor’ operate. This exposure will enable the trainees to create fruitful working relationships that will help them in their jobs,  upon their placement after training.

During this 18 month tenure, the Management trainees will be provided coaching and guidance by our top management team who will serve as mentors. Apart from the mentors, the Management Trainees will be reporting to their relevant departmental/sectional line managers, who will provide the relevant training, job assignment, day to day supervision and manage their performance.

You will undergo a comprehensive 18-month training program as a means of gaining exposure to various aspects of the Company’s operations. The on-the-job rotation to various departments will include coaching, mentoring, training and development. Selected candidates may be eligible for overseas assignments. Upon completion of the program, you will be considered for permanent employment.


Requirements :
• Malaysian citizen below 25 years of age at the date of application
• Fresh graduates with CGPA of 3.5 and above in the following discipline of studies :

  • Business Administration
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Business Management
  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • Economics
  • Food Technology
  • Finance
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Statistics
  • Communication and Corporate Communications

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
    • Energetic, enthusiastic and adaptable to changes
    • Resourceful, able to work independently as well as in a team
    • Possess excellent records of extra curricular activities in leadership roles
    • Computer literacy is essential
